Request - Hotel Deal Scheme in Vegas?

I've been looking at some of the packages/deals offered. Both Caesar & MGM Resorts are offering free buffets with a 2 night minimum stay. My airfare is currently covered under FFM, so I'm looking to save on hotels/meals right now. I've figured that I'd normally pay around $280 for food for the trip, spending $20/day which would mean no buffets as 1 buffet normally averages between $15-20. (The Caesar ones it'd save me from having to buy meals the entire day since they're 24/hr wristbands.) The point: 2 nights=2 buffets. I'm considering "hotel shuffling" to maximize this deal. I'm specifically looking at hotels on the Strip with rooms at less than $50/night for my stay. If anyone has done this before, pointers are most appreciated!
