REQUEST: car rental at Paris CDG 5/10-5/17

http://feedproxy.google.com — Rating: 0 Posted By: fairenough Views: 38 Replies: 0 I will be traveling from Chicago to Paris to Normandy to arrive on 5/10 and leave on 5/17 (or within a day of these dates) and am looking for a decent deal on renting a car. I have considered the TGV but I will be traveling with 2 kids and a baby so I don't think we could handle the rail and also we are looking forward to driving to the beach (although it may be a little cold in May!). I'm assuming that we are limited to the car rental options at Charles De Gaulle Airport, but maybe someone out there has some additional suggestions like US car rental sister companies, bonus perks, best credit card to pay with, AAA/travel type Discounts, anticipated surcharges, most reliable service, availability of automatic transmission vehicles, filling up with fuel tips . . . or anything that would make the process easier for a family who has never rented a car in France before. Also wondering if the car rentals can be one-way in case the kids are overly curious about the trains and want to take them back to Paris. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
