Beware of KLM/AIr France (deceiving) World Deals

Seeing some decent fares there we were kind of rushed to book a trip down the road. We were frustrated just the following day to see that not only the prices stayed the same, but the exact trip we booked was in fact lower priced! We emailed our disappointment with KLM only to be told that (I paraphrase) we should be smarter shoppers so that we do not fall for these advertisements. We have not seen such misleading and deceiving advertisement. Well, we have, from some 'fly-by-night' companies. I am afraid KLM/AIr France/Delta are not far from that designation.
